בשבועות האחרונים אנחנו עובדים על ברן אינמושן בשיא המרץ, מצד אחד מחלקות ההפקה, מחנות הנושא, אמנים וחברי קהילה נוספים, כמו תמיד, בונים לנו אירוע שבו נוכל לגעת בשמיים. מצד שני ביקורה של הגב' קורונה מאלצת אותנו להתמודד עם אי וודאות, תקנות ואתגרים חדשים. אנחנו קהילה למודת אתגרים, גם הפעם, לתחושתינו, מצאנו את הדרך לצאת מהקופסא ולהיות השראה לפעילות תרבות שאינה משותקת ופועלת מתוך אחריות ובטיחות.
איך? מצאנו סטארט אפ ישראלי אשר פועל כבר בעולם, ומבצע בדיקות קורונה ב 30 שניות, והיינו בהליך מתקדם של מו"מ עמו. תכננו להקים עוד לפני הגייט, דרייב אין בו יתבצעו בדיקות לכל משתתף . יצרנו תיק נהלים ברורים להתנהלות בשטח, נערכנו עם תסריטים שונים להם יש לתת מענה, ייצרנו צוותי עבודה שפועלים בשת״פ כדי להיערך למענה להנחיות ואף מעבר. כל אלו הביאו אותנו להרגיש שאנחנו מסוגלים לקיים אירוע בטוח. בראייה שלנו ככל שהפארקים ואתרי הקמפינג פתוחים בחוה"מ, ברן אינמושן הינו הקמפינג הכי בטוח ומסודר להיות בו בתקופה זו. שלחנו את מתווה האירוע כפי שבנינו אותו למשרד הבריאות על מנת לקבל אישור לקיומו. עדיין לא נעננו. במצב זה בו אין אישור ממשרד הבריאות לקיום האירוע ונראה כי לא יתקבל אישור שכזה לאור העליה בתחלואה בוירוס הקורונה בימים האחרונים, ולאור וההחלטה של הקבינט להטיל סגר בחגי תשרי הרי שלצערנו נראה כי הקורונה הכריעה, והאירוע לא יוכל להתקיים בחוה"מ סוכות.
זהו מצב קשה לכולנו, יש לא מעט מתנדבים שעובדים ומקדישים המון זמן ומרץ כדי שזה יקרה, אנחנו רוצים להגיד לכם תודה גדולה, האמון והמסירות אינם מובנים מאליהם. לכל מי שהתנדב, לכל מי שרכש כרטיס מתוך אמון ואמונה, לכל מי שתמך מאחורי הקלעים. לכולם. הרבה טוב קרה בשבועות אלה, מהיום הראשון ידענו שאנחנו יוצאים למסע שסופו לא ידוע, אבל הדרך… הדרך חשובה לא פחות. עשינו את הדרך הזו מתוך רצון לקדם עשייה, מתוך אמונה בתרבות שלנו, מתוך אהבה לאומנות וכמיהה להתאחד למרות חוסר הבהירות. הצתנו אש, הצתנו תקווה, אופטימיות. קהילת מידברן חיה ובועטת וזה המון בימים כ"כ מורכבים לכולנו. בזה הצלחנו! לא היינו עושים זאת אחרת שוב. חשוב לנו לשקף את המצב כרגע במיידי, אנחנו מבטיחים שנחזור לעשייה ממש בקרוב כדי שנוכל להיפגש באמת ובבטחה. אחרי סוכות נשוב ונבחן תאריכים יחד עם הפארק המוטורי בערד, נתעדכן על שטח קבע לאירוע מידברן ונקבל החלטה חדשה. ולעניין הכרטיסים, בחודש הקרוב נעביר את ההחזרים לפי התנאים בתקנון האירוע, לפי תנאי ביטול קורונה ישירות לכרטיס האשראי בו התבצעה הרכישה. חגים שמחים, בריאים ואוהבים לכולם.
In recent weeks we have been working tirelessly and excitedly on 'Burn In motion'. On the one hand and as always, the production departments, theme camps, artists, and other community members are busy creating an event where we can touch the sky. On the other hand, Ms Corona's visit forces us to face new uncertainties, regulations and challenges. As a community we have overcome challenges before and once again, we sincerely felt that we had found a way, thinking outside the box, to be an inspiration for cultural activity which is not paralysed yet operates with values of responsibility and safety. How? We sourced an Israeli start-up, which already operates worldwide, offering 30 second corona tests, with whom we were in the midst of advanced negotiations. We planned to set up a 'drive in' station before the gate, where tests would be conducted for each participant. We created a clear set of guidelines for conduct on site. We prepared for various possible scenarios and knew how we would address them. We created teams working collaboratively in preparation for keeping the guidelines and for scenarios beyond. All of the above made us feel that we are capable of delivering a safe event. We believe that as long as the parks and campsites are open during the Sukkot holiday, 'Burn In Motion' is the safest and most organised campsite to be at during this time. We sent our carefully constructed event plan to the Deputy Director General of the Ministry of Health, in order to obtain approval for it.. Given the situation, where the cabinet decided to hold quarantine in the holidsay, sadly, the corona has determined that the event will not be allowed to take place in Sukkot.
This is a difficult situation for us all, There's a large number of volunteers who are working and devoting loads of their time and energy to make the event happen, we want to say a big thank you, your trust and dedication are not taken for granted. To everyone who volunteered, to everyone who purchased a ticket with trust and faith, to everyone who supported behind the scenes. To everyone. A lot of good has happened these past weeks, from day one we knew we were taking a journey where the end is unknown, but the path.. the path is no less important. We walked this path with a desire to create, with belief in our culture, with love for art and a deep longing to unite despite the lack of clarity. We ignited fire, we ignited hope, optimism. The Midburn community is alive and kicking and that's 'a lot' in these complex times. That is our success! We would not have done it any other way given we had to do it again. It is important for us to clearly and immediately convey the situation. We promise to get back to work very soon so that we can all meet in truth and safety. After Sukkot, we will meet to re-examine dates together with the motor park in Arad, we will be updated as to a permanent area for the Midburn event and we will reach a new decision. As for the tickets, we will transfer the refunds according to the ticket purchase terms and conditions stating the cancellation policy in the case of Corona, directly to the credit card with which the purchase was made in the next month.
